Jeanne, Jonathan & Theo

"Tenacity with sensitivity describes her way.”

Augusta's words and actions always respected our privacy and pride, a balance we knew was needed in order to share our stories with our grandchild.

Our Preserving Legacy book honors the last two decades by pulling two individual’s threads from each’s earlier lives and bow tying them into the one-of-a-kind story of our family.

The relationship between my baby and elderly grandfather - both considered by many to be some of the most ‘weak’ beings in society - confirmed how important their existence is.

The way his face lit up when he saw my baby illustrates their purpose: to love and be loved.

It’s something I’ll never have to worry about forgetting because it’s been captured through Augusta’s lens.

I didn’t have any current high quality photos of them, and I’m grateful we did a Preserving Legacy photoshoot when we did so that my family could share these precious photos at his funeral.

Working alongside Augusta with my Mother was a very unique experience. She immediately felt like part of our family… I can even see my Mom & Augusta catching up over tea one day, they got along so well!

She’s beacon of light & healing in our world.

I would highly recommend Augusta's Preserving Legacy service to anyone who would like to capture the life and stories of a loved one, particularly if they are older or facing illness before it’s too late.

My 87-year old father and I spent a wonderful afternoon with Augusta. Her questions were thoughtful, and never intrusive.

We were so at ease with her that most of the time we forgot she even had a camera.

The resulting photos are both sweet and profound. My family and I will cherish these images for years to come.
